This was a delightful read packed full of adventure and learning. There is plenty of suspense and thrills to keep the young reader turning the pages. I found this story was a fabulous way for kids to read and learn about people from the past and the many battles that their daily lives encountered.. It was a thoroughly enjoyable adventure that kids 8 -12 will equally appreciate. I gave this story 5 out of 5 stars.Sandra Bennett, author
